Description:
The demolition and reconstruction of an existing paper recycling collection bay.
The works were carried out within a fully operational and extremely busy Civic Amenity sit off Forward Drive, Harrow.
The new construction was a substantial reinforced concrete structure where the reinforced concrete walls were tied into the reinforced concrete floor slab for additional strength in order to withstand the impact from heavy machinery that would be used to load the paper. (The damage that the original paper bay sustained can be seen from the attached photograph taken before works commenced).
